About this property

Renovated quiet adobe casita. 10 min walk to Plaza & 2 min to Folk Art Market!

Mae's Casita at 453 Cerrillos, City of Santa Fe Short Term Rental License #19-00158819, is a 1,000 square foot free-standing home just a few blocks from the Historic Santa Fe Plaza. This beautiful, recently renovated home is part of a classic Santa Fe Compound of buildings dating back to New Mexico's Territorial Period before 1912. The compound at 453 Cerrillos includes The Loft at 453, VRBO #1261468 and The Cottage at 453, VRBO #1341068, both 1 br/1 bath. Our new properties are tight next door on W Manhattan: Casa Dominguez, VRBO #1708667 and Circa 1885, VRBO # 1744138, which share a private garden courtyard. Both are 1 bedroom. The property is remarkably quiet given its close proximity to the Santa Fe Railyard District, the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road and the State Capitol Grounds. Mae's Casita has a kitchen with full refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, microwave and granite countertops. The old fashioned white enamel sink has a vintage style bridge faucet. The open living room/dining area enjoy easy access to the kitchen. There is an instant on gas fireplace. One of the two identically sized and configured bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom's bath adjoins the bedroom but is not en-suite. Santa Fe's iconic coffee shop, Ohori's, is across Manhattan Street just steps away. Santa Fe's best bakery, Sage Bakery, is conveniently around the corner. Performance venues Lensic Theater and St. Francis Auditorium as well as Site Santa Fe, New Mexico Museum of Art, the Palace of the Governors and the New Mexico History Museum are all less than a 10 minute walk from the Casita. Meow Wolf is a short drive or accessed with public transportation.

Our commercial laundry service – the same laundry service used by most high-end hotels in Northern New Mexico - uses unscented, hypoallergenic detergent and extremely hot water. Sheets are lightly starched and ironed at 385 degrees.
Sanitize, gloves and masks are made available for guests.
Should you have any suggestions, please let Linda and Lance know.

Foodie Trip
We spent 3 nights at Mae’s Casita and the property was perfect for our group. The casita was well stocked and the wine and cheese upon our arrival was a refreshing treat. It is clean and well maintained. The location is close to downtown plus restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Santa Fe.

Cozy and warm, perfect for my friend and I for our first time in Santa Fe.
Honestly, we were so pleased by everything about this cozy casita. It’s safe, warm, well equipped and so easy to walk to everywhere we needed. We loved how easy It was to correspond with the owners. We loved the fireplace in march was a perfect add. Bluetooth speaker was always on for creating a fun mood. We will be back!

Wonderful Spot
Mae’s Casita is a charming place - very relaxing and comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice. Meeting Linda and Lance was a treat, and they made our stay perfect. Communication was prompt and easy. The location is wonderful and within walking distance from the plaza, shops, museums, restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommended this place.
