About this property

Mesquite Cabin Studio w/ Private Hot Springs Tub

Come to Wonder Valley Hot Springs, only a 15 minute drive from Joshua Tree National Park for the ultimate peaceful and restorative retreat. This booking is for our Mesquite Cabin, a studio with outdoor patio in front, large deck, super cozy king bed, kitchen and bathroom, with private rock soaking tub fed by our mineral rich hot springs water. Explore the park during the day and soak under the stars at night!

Wonder Valley Hot Springs is a 20 acre property with multiple homes, each with their own private stone soaking tub filled with our mineral rich hot springs water. You may see workers and/or other guests walking around on the land but your cabin will be completely private.

In this cabin there is a king sized bed, front patio, indoor bathroom with shower and beautiful deck with private granite stone soaking tub you can fill with mineral rich water from our hot springs for soaking.

The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans & utensils for cooking and serving (no microwave, toaster, blender or spices). We recommend bringing groceries as there are only a few restaurants nearby and limited grocery store options in the vicinity.

We have the best wifi available in the area and we do have reliable cell service.

We do not have any TVs or cable or microwaves.

All linens and decor are organic, sustainably sourced and eco-friendly whenever possible and all decor is vegan and cruelty-free, we use no animal products on the property.
All of our linens are organic or microfiber, and they get stained easily and bleach destroys them. What we do to be environmentally conscious is we wash them and then tie dye with natural indigo dye. So celebrate the imperfections.

Entrance is located on a dirt road about 1/4 mile from paved road.

We are pet friendly but do require an additional $40 fee per pet, per night and pets must be disclosed in request to book message. Pets are not allowed on the bed or furniture. Please bring a dog bed or blanket. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended except in a crate. As we are a property where guests come for peace and quiet, we ask that you not bring dogs that will bark.

Dreammy little spot
Wonderful evening under the stars, you can easily see the milky way after the moon sets. The hot water was amazing and I love the tubs. Very worth it to have a comfy bed and a place to cook just a few short steps away.

The Mainer's loved it
We had the most magical 24 hours at the Mesquite Cabin. It's literally in the middle of nowhere, but so easy to get to. Every step of the check-in process was easy. The owner sent us a detailed email answering every question we had to start. They kindly let us spend a little extra time in the cabin too! I could live in this little cabin happily. With the starts, the sun and a perfectly AirConed house....Just book it already.

Beautiful Studio in a Serene Setting
This property is fantastic. It truly felt like a luxury retreat in the middle of the desert. The studio had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, the patio was very inviting, and the outdoor tub is spectacular. Highly recommended for anybody looking for a peaceful getaway.

Why they chose this property

I have been an avid love of hot springs and have visited them around the world. It was a dream of mine to one day live one land with natural hot springs.
A unique set of circumstances revealed this land to me and I decided to move here and develop it.

What makes this property unique

This land is as little as 2.5 hours from Los Angeles and 3 hours from Las Vegas. We are 30 miles from the nearest Interstate with jet black nights that reveal the Milky Way and all the star and planets in the galaxy.
We also have an enormous sky with sunrises and sunsets every day.
The natural, mineral hot springs are divine and the ability to soak in private 24 hours a day is a rare treat.
