About this property

Enjoy beautiful views during your stay at High Meadows. This custom built 3,400 sq. ft. log cabin is situated on 20+ acres sleeps up to 12 guests. You will have plenty of room to relax in this 5 bedroom log cabin including a sleeping loft, game room, expansive outdoor seating area and much more.

As you walk in the front door you will find a half bathroom to your left. The main floor also includes the beautiful Kitchen, Great Room and Master Bedroom. The Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom including a sink and shower area.

Upstairs in the loft you will find 2 queen beds with a private balcony view of the pond.

The lower level includes 3 private bedrooms, full bathroom, game room with foosball, couch and Smart-TV and a walkout to the fire-pit, corn-hole and hiking. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has three twin over twin bunk-beds.

The kitchen is well equipped including stainless steel appliances. Whether it be a blender for smoothies or a crockpot for cooking a warm meal while you are out hiking, you will find everything you need at High Meadows Lodge. The kitchen is truly the Heart of the House in this beautiful lodge.

We are located less than 20 minutes from Old Man's Cave and less than 10 minutes from Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs and Clear Creek Metro Park.

Nightly rates are based on 8 guests. There is a $20 charge for each additional guest per night with a maximum of 12 (including adults and children).

Wonderful Stay

Almost don’t want to write this review, as we want to keep this hidden gem for ourselves! From the minute we walked into the cabin, we were blow away. The views are amazing from all angles. We loved just sitting on the porch, watching the sun rise/set, and listening to the kids and dog play in the yard. Speaking of that, the yard is huge, both front & back. We had nice trips out to Hocking Hills for some great hiking, but we always came back to the cabin early, just to come enjoy our time there. Not to mention some great hiking around the cabin as well. The cabin was very clean and had everything you could want. The owners were always in contact and provided so many little suggestions and details, felt like we had local guides helping us out. Evenings spent relaxing in the hot tub, watching our young boys and dog play and enjoy the woods, Smore’s around the fire pit, enjoying the stars. We said it to ourselves many times and say it here, probably the best VRBO we have ever been to. We will be back!

Perfection!!

We brought our three teens to this property and we were all very impressed. The house is very large and our family of five people and two dogs only used about half the house, there was so much space! The property, with the well maintained trails was gorgeous, quiet, and a blissful retreat away from the busyness of everyday life. Every small detail was so well thought out by the owner. The weather, during our stay was mostly rain but the house was so well setup with extra games that we never got bored. A benefit of the rainy weather was watching it roll in and out on the beautiful wrap around covered deck. The owner was so accommodating that she even allowed us to use their Tesla charger. I could go on and on about all the great aspects of this property but I highly recommend you check it out yourself, you will not be disappointed! Thank you for the incredible family experience!

Lovely Peaceful Getaway

The property was very nice and comfortable. We had room to gather and spreadout as necessary. We enjoyed s'mores around the campfire, games and puzzles. We watched a lightening storm and hiked to the cave. We had a wonderful stay at High Meadows.
